Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile application QR Code Scan. (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in some jurisdictions) to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
• You are not barred from using the App under any applicable law

2. License and Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App solely for your personal use in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Interfere with the functionality or performance of the App or servers
• Circumvent or bypass security measures used to prevent access to certain features
• Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services

3. Features and Functionality

The App provides the following core features:

• QR code and Bracode scanning using your device’s camera
• QR code creation from user-input data
• In-app subscriptions to unlock premium features and remove ads
• Display of ads (to non-subscribers) via third-party ad networks
• Optional analytics collection to improve functionality

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any features of the App at any time without prior notice.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Some features may be accessible through in-app purchases via Apple’s In-App Purchase system. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple’s terms for billing, auto-renewal, and cancellation.

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of their duration until the user chooses to cancel
• Manage subscriptions through Apple ID settings

5. Advertisements

The App displays third-party advertisements through Google AdMob. Ads may be personalized based on device data and in-app behavior (with consent where required).

You may remove ads by purchasing a subscription.

6. User Content

You are responsible for any content you create, scan, or share using the App. We do not store QR code contents or scanned data on our servers. You must ensure that:

• Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• You do not scan/create QR codes with harmful or illegal content

We reserve the right to block or remove access to content if required by law.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you agree to the practices outlined therein.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App (excluding QR codes or user-created content) are owned by or licensed to us. You may not:

• Use our name, trademarks, logos, or content without prior written permission
• Claim ownership of any App components or underlying technology
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free, secure, or continuously available
• The content or output from the App will be accurate, reliable, or suitable for any particular purpose

You use the App at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or reputation
• Device damage or system failure resulting from use of the App or reliance on its output

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless and/or our affiliates, licensors, and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Any content you create or share through the App

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for any reason, including your violation of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App will be revoked
• You must stop all use of the App
• Any rights granted under these Terms will cease

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be:

• Posted within the App
• Published via the App Store listing

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
